DANS L’UNIVERS D’ASTOR

Dans l’univers d’Astor is a musical and narrative show that immerses the audience in the life stories, music and inspirations of Astor Piazzolla. From New York to Paris, via Buenos Aires, this is an original portrait in which the works of the great Argentine composer are interwoven with classical music, jazz, traditional tango, klezmer music and fascinating biographical anecdotes.

« This show plunges us into the story of a singular musician who reflected in music an exceptional life: full of passion, the search for meaning, and a complex and magnificent relationship with the various places that were his home. Ensemble Mistral’s interpretation of Piazzolla’s works allows us to imagine the nostalgia and texture of the bandoneon in its jazz and classical instrumentation, perfectly reflecting Piazzolla’s avant-garde spirit and musical quest.
